All our electric chafers have adjustable thermostats so you can set them appropriately for whatever is going inside them.
Typically, our chafers operate at somewhere around 40°C/50°C – 80°C/90°C depending on the make and model. This specific chafer I would need to find out for, but the digital dry heat chafer models operate at a range of 40°C–90°C.
The Food Standards agency state that the holding temperature for food should be 63°C or above, which the staff preparing the food would monitor with a thermometer.
